I think the OA site can certainly compete with sites like eBay. You have not everything here, but nearly all the features (all the major ones) offered by eBay, but without the hefty fees. I know a lot of Power Sellers are very upset with the eBay fee structure and can see a site like this one catching up quick.

Yazzers is definitely the new place to post jobs. I am a recruiter and need a place for new employment applications and this works out great for me. Nothing better than a free job board that has good traffic! Beats listing at career builder anyday.

I don't think you really have to worry about competition though, do you? It's not like a blogger is selling anything.

Yup, the friendio does work on the iPad, just got mine! This sure beats the Acer Aspire netbook I was using.

iRovr wasn't that great anyway, it was a pain in the ass to use, constantly using email to update anything.
